Beautiful Day
The People
Don't Say Goodbye
The Time of Our Life
The Moment
A Mother's Work is Never Done
Do You Really
I Just Don't Understand
Do You Care About Me

A Mother's Work is Never Done Copyright 2002 by Linda Finkle
Six o'clock alarm rings, get the breakfasts, then the lunches
Then the clothes and other things
That they'll need for their day today
Kiss goodbye, they're on the bus, he's off to work,
Sit for awhile
And think about the things that you've got to do today
She's the center of the family, the one that makes sure Everybody has just what they need
To be as happy as can be
Sometimes we forget about her 'cause she's always there And we just figure that she'll always be around
A mother's work is never done
You think you're through you've just begun
To wipe away the tears, and the fears, and the hurt inside
Each night your mother prays for you
Your health and safety that's why you
Can't forget to call her just to tell her you're okay
Clean the house and wash the clothes and
Take the dog out for a walk
Call the doctor 'cause you're not sure
Why they woke last night
Bring the car in, cook the dinner, get the school supplies
For their homework that you help them with each night Before they sleep
She's the center of the family...
A mother's work is never done...
So call her now while there's still time
Just shoot the breeze a little while
'Cause one day you'll remember how it was
When mom was there
Yes, one day you'll remember how it felt to have her there...
